Not missing! Just busy :)

Hi all,
I'm still about, have just been super busy!

Lots in the works, after a number of requests for process videos,
I have gotten my awesome hubby to help me build an overhead camera mount,
so videos will be coming soon ;)

In the meantime, I've been having some fun playing
and I have come up with this

This layout was heaps of fun to do! I can only manage small doses at my desk these days so it ends up taking me awhile to put one like this together.

Lots of texture, layers and colours on this layout. I used mainly Bo Bunny Penny Emporium papers, but also bits and bobs from my stash :)
Love my flowers... some Prima, Green Tara & D-Lish Scraps flowers.

Some close ups, beads and watch innards :)

I picked up these awesome hollyhock/larkspur like flowers and I LOVE them, I think I need every colour!

Another close up!

And while I was there I thought I would make a tag with some of the packaging and off cuts from my layout. Also some yummy prima!

Close ups for the addicts :) Love these Scrapmatts words!

I don't usually scrap with purple for some reason, not consciously, but I noticed I had alot of purple flowers, so was determined to use some of them.
So a little outside my little box :)

Hope you like what I have come up with.
Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon!

Back again!

Hi all.

I am back again to share a layout I have created.

I was gifted a whole HEAP of scrapping goodies from the very
 talented and generous Cathy Cafun,
when she heard that I had returned to scrapping
and was tragically outdated on supplies.
She's an enabler lol but I love her lots!!

So anyways here is what I have created

One thing I have no lack of is flowers lol,
I had to sort and file them on the weekend, as I had them everywhere.

I have layered this Prima flower on top of  layers of flowers that I have die cut. I bit more oomph, not that Prima really needs it :)

Lots of layers of yumminess.

 And another close up :)

I had loads of fun with this layout. Got my girly out!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving some of your love.

October Already!!

Wow! September went so quickly!

I've been pretty busy so far this month, quite a few appointments,
but still finding some scrappy time :)

So the start of the month means the start of a new batch of challenges.

This layout is for the challenge over @ Anna's Craft Cupboard.

The very talented Kylie Cornish has designed this sketch for us to play with

So this is my take on the sketch

My boy loves his cars! He had to have a taken with every car lol
Graeme took him to a car show and oh my did it take awhile!

Some close ups! I embossed my chippy in pewter, YUM!

Anyway I hope you like it!
Why not have a play with the sketch?
You have until the end of the month to upload your entry to either
the gallery or to the facebook page!
For a chance to win $50 to spend in store!

Thanks for stopping by

Autumn Beauty

Hi everybody!

Hope you are all well?

Today I am here to share a layout I have done for this month's challenge
over at The Creative Studio, which is the blog
for Canvas Corp Brands. You know who they are! They are the
home of 7 Gypsies and Tattered Angels.
I am a huge fan of everything they make. Great quality products!

Anybody that knows me, knows that I am obsessed with Tattered Angels glimmermists, paints, sprays, anything I can get messy with :)

So for this months challenge is an Autumn/Fall Mood board

For my layout I have gone really old school with my papers.
Some of you may remember them (please don't judge how I hoard paper lol)
7 Gypsies Avignon Collection, well what I had left after all these years ;)

For the background, I have used texture paste & Tattered Angels Glimmermist in
Pumpkin Spice (limited edition)
Olive Vine

For the corner scroll & title letters I have used chipboard coated in gesso,
then sprayed with Gold & Pumpkin Spice Glimmermists.

For the name plate chipboard I have coated it in a copper finish, which turned out a bit darker than planned, and finished it off with a spray of gold glimmermist.

Some more close ups of gorgeous bits and pieces.

Lots of texture and misting, stamping etc.

And the full layout

So I hope you like this layout and of course if you have any questions etc
please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for stopping by

Kraft+ Melon Challenge

Hi all

I am back today to share a layout I have completed for this months challenge over

The challenge this month is to use the this melon colour board

So, I finally got some newer photos printed. As you will see my kids are a bit older now (sob), Brianna is now 17!!! This was late last year as I'm still not up to much photography.

 So here is my layout.

The Hello Friend tag pulls out.

Ummmm, I should explain that Blip, is my daughter lol. Its been one of her nicknames for a long time and the one that is printed on her senior jacket. Moe is our baby cat :)

Some yumminess, an assortment of My Minds Eye, October Afternoon and others.

And more close ups for the addicts :0

Thanks for stopping by.

Hopefully more to share soon

Anna's Craft Cupboard

Hi there!

This month there is a Colour Challenge
going on over @

This is the colour board

and this is my take on the challenge

I have used an assortment on this page. I started with using some gesso and stencils on the background. Followed by some mists and inks.

Pulled out the crackle glaze for the chipboard frame.
Some Bo Bunny, Prima & MME papers here.
Some pretties from Green Tara and D-lish Scraps.

I left my chipboard title bare (old Scrapware font, I'm still hoarding a few packs lol), as it gave the feel of the wood in the colour board.

Anyways that's all I have to share today, but thanks for stopping by

Lots of love

Lisa xoxo
